Bakur og Falkur
About the vessel
The pair trawler Falkur joined Framherji’s fleet in 2025 and operates in pair trawling together with Heykur. The vessel uses a pair trawl and fishes in Faroese waters. Onboard, the catch is bled and placed in ice to preserve quality, after which it is landed in the Faroe Islands for further processing. The crew consists of seven people on each trip.
