Bakur og Falkur

About the vessel

The pair trawler Bakur joined Framherji’s fleet in 2025 and operates in pair trawling together with Stelkur. The vessel uses a pair trawl and operates in Faroese waters. Onboard. The catch is bled and placed in ice to preserve quality, after which it is landed in the Faroe Islands for further processing. The crew consists of seven on each trip.
