Akraberg

M/T Akraberg is the first vessel, commissioned and built from scratch by Framherji.

Its fishing ground is the Barents Sea where shrimp and demersal species such as cod and haddock are caught.

The ships has a hold capacity of app. 1000 tons of H&G fish and additional 550 tons of silage.

The fish is H&G or whole round frozen onboard.

The vessel is equipped with tanks to produce silage.
