About us
Framherji was established in 1994. The company`s first vessel was the trawler Akraberg, which commenced commercial operations the following year. Since then, the company has become one of the major players within the Faroe commercial fishing industry.

What we do
Our activities
Framherji Sp/f is an active fisheries company, based in Fuglafjørður. Framherji targets pelagic fish, demersal fish and saltwater shrimp. The catch is processed both onboard/ashore and subsequently sold.

Framherji wishes to participate in the protection of nature and its environment. We fully accept our responsibility of retaining and sustaining a clean prolific sea. We endeavour, to the very best of our ability, to prevent and limit all pollution of the seas, coastal areas and air, including all detrimental impacts upon nature and its environment, stemming from our activities.
